I’m a freelance writer and editor telling stories from the worlds of science, technology, arts, and culture.
I’ve split much of my career between university communications and arts journalism. Most recently, I worked for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as the content director of the MIT Alumni Association and the editor of MIT Spectrum. Before that, I was on staff at American Theatre magazine, including several years as managing editor.
As a freelancer I’ve written for NPR, the Boston Globe, Edible Boston, and the alumni magazines of several universities, as well as for TheatreForum, Theatre World, and the Creative Capital Foundation, and have edited books including Todd London’s An Ideal Theater: Founding Visions for a New American Art (2013).
